Yes! In addition to carpet, Malkin’s specializes in hardwood flooring, ceramic tile, laminate floors, vinyl flooring (sheet and tile), and area rugs.

Are there samples available to take home?
At Malkin’s Carpets we expect the customer to take home samples-in fact, we encourage it! It is important to look at samples in the daytime, at night and in the various lighting conditions of a particular room.

Should I wait to paint or wallpaper my room after the new floor is installed?
If you plan on painting a room, it is best to do this prior to a new floor being installed. Old floor treatments provide a great drop cloth.
Wallpaper, however, is best applied after a new floor is installed. Some flooring products can damage wallpaper and painted walls quite easily. Touching up a painted area requires much less work than a wallpapered area. It is always recommended that you make sure to have extra paint and wallpaper upon completion of a flooring project to attend to any unforeseen touch-ups.
